It's not a scam, exactly, though it is fertile ground for scams. It's a reactionary technology masquerading as a liberatory one. It's a way to exchange one form of centralized power, one aristocracy, for another. Anyone who does not yet understand and accept that markets naturally tend toward centralization, and that private interests are just as capable of and interested in coercion and violence as States are (whence States, otherwise?) will likely consider me a fucking muppet.
