When I tell people to stop listening to right-leaning corporate media like Fox News and CNN (historically "American liberal," but which shifted noticeably further rightward after Mark Thompson became CEO on August 30, 2023), or even their conglomerate-owned-and-programmed "local" stations, they usually ask me where I get my news. Here are the outlets I find worth looking at and my reasoning for doing so. Don't be surprised if you think I've chosen poorly. There are a lot of things I don't know. If you think there's something important for me to know about, you can always reach me on Mastodon or by email at my pseudonym at the domain of this website.
