We are a party of careful people in a careless world. From staggering wealth inequality, to environmental degradation, to the proliferation of AI slop at the expense of actual capability and understanding, the ethos of "more, faster, at all costs" is eroding the very foundations of our planet. We are working against this grain. We do not see technologies that dehumanize others, destroy the environment, and obliterate our ability to derive a clear picture of our world as "inevitable;" we see them as unethical, and to be opposed as best we can.
We will not share our work with the corporations spreading and profiting from this rot. We will keep our work for ourselves, and for the People. With our roots firmly in the earth, we will flourish as the old world decays, and we will work in the hope that our flourishing may keep our endangered world liveable and worth living in for ourselves and for the generations after ours.
Membership will be open to all who wish to work alongside us as we seek a better world, but we will not tolerate bigotry. We assert that all people are equal in rights and dignity. We assert that the systems of oppression reinforce and rely on each other, that they are expressions of a compulsion to dominate others, and that such systems are incompatible with creating and maintaining a fair, just, and healthy world. We assert that none of us are free until we are all free, for those who oppress others will never be satisfied until all are oppressed.
