This blog entry was ported from my gemsite, so it follows a slightly different format than I've been using here. The date on it is also wrong, but it's the date under which it was listed on my gemlog and I can't find an older one recorded anywhere.
I'm beginning work on a system for organizing YAML-formatted recipes and planning meals from the command line. I'll be scraping Foodista, as all their recipes are Creative Commons licensed. If any of you know of other good sources for Creative Commons licensed or public domain recipes, or if you'd like to donate some recipes to the repository I'm building (and will be sharing), please send an email to recipes@lyk.so.
